Our History
Mezuzah World was started on a whim with a trip to the Caribbean. Our original name was "Bonaire Mezuzah", which became too limiting. Seeing small pieces of coral on the shore that had broken off from the main stem and were being smashed, as they hit rocks perpelled by the waves coming on shore. Thinking some were in complete cylindrical shapes, maybe these could be used as a mezuzah case. This is how it started 5 years ago. As of now the fractured dead pieces of coral are difficult to find since we only reclaim and recover the broken fractured pieces. We still have some stock and will sell what we have left. We have moved into other materials keeping with our repurpose mentality. Fabricating Mezuzah cases from reclaimed and repurposed wood, Glass and Metal. ALL ARE ONE OF A KIND and are not made in mass volume, all are Hand Done by individual artists.... Since all are created one at a time we "don't and can"t have two that are identical and will never. We have merged "bonaire mezuzah" into a new name which we think is easier to identify ...mezuzahworld.com.
